And so another day comes to a close.

Went to Autumn school again tonight but kinda tired so not much soaked in... had a driving lesson and i learned to look over my shoulders and turn my head around when reversing and everything that doesn't involve staring straight forward out the windscreen (scary!!!)

Watching Joel play Ratchet and Clank 3 on the PS2 maybe letting him loose on the gaming consoles this hols is not a good thing with COD:UF as well - we were going to start WoW again for 2 weeks but i've found that I've developed a certain amount of disgust regarding life in an imaginary world - escapism doesn't even cover it. While it is undeniably fun, it is also dangerously addictive... it isn't inherently evil to play mmorpgs, just like it isn't inherently evil to drink alcohol. And could those two or three or fifty hours of your life been potentially put to better use? While I don't think playing computer games is wrong, it's a fine line between having fun and making friends through/over/because of them and turning them into your life's passion that distracts you from the real life that, unlike the game, isn't infinite. (She says, as she again embarks on FF8 and 10)

Had a great thunderstorm tonight :D more 'raining' on the driving logbook - power kept jumping in and out of autumn school - brownouts! I'm glad it held off until tonight though ;) ... it's raining i'm pouring the old man is snoring :P

It's incredible it's thursday morning already!! (well 12:25am counts, surely!) and almost a week of the holidays is gone - need to get stuck into the books again!! Sleep is definitely required ;)

Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you:
Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.

Song of Solomon 8:4

-- Now playing - Natalie Merchant - Kind and Generous

You've been so kind and generous, I don't know how you keep on giving
For your kindness I'm in debt to you
For your selflessness, my admiration
For everything you've done, you know I'm bound,
I'm bound to thank you for it....

Oh, I want to thank you for so many gifts you gave with love and tenderness,
I wanna thank you
I want to thank you for your generosity, the love and the honesty that you gave me
I want to thank you, show my gratitude, my love and my respect for you,
I wanna thank you
